The company Seehawer & Siebert from Rottenburg a.N. has been supplying a large community of natural fiber lovers with the finest wools and yarns for over 35 years, including many Waldorf schools.
With a few exceptions, all products are manufactured according to Seehawer & Siebert's specifications from the raw wool onwards. And thus represent an exclusive offer that is not available anywhere else in this form.
Seehawer & Siebert becomes Seehawer Natural Fibers
After the death of the two founders, Seehawer & Siebert has been managed by Denis Seehawer under "Seehawer Natural Fibers" since 2017. Mr. Seehawer junior has taken over the philosophy and spirit of the company and has also taken important steps towards the future. Thus, the yarns were and are now also tested by the Hohenstein Institute and receive the certificate:
OEKO-TEX Standard 100, product class 1
When purchasing, it is ensured that the wool is and remains completely untreated and free of finishes. Seehawer & Siebert controls the further processing stages just as closely.
In the course of decades of activity, the company has found reliable partners, some of whom it has been working with for more than 20 years, with some of them from the very beginning.
These are often small companies in which many work steps are still performed manually.
In personal contact on site, from Peru to Thailand, detailed agreements were made, for example, to avoid health risks, to exclude the use of sprays and pesticides, to ensure chemical-free production processes and that ecological aspects are also taken into account in cultivation and production.
In addition to the ecological orientation, Seehawer & Siebert would like to support above all the creative work and creation. And therefore offers different qualities in a variety of colors and for a wide range of techniques.
The search and development of beautiful yarns continues unabated. We can be surprised.
The yarns from Seehawer & Siebert are certainly the most original in our collection. You can get them untreated or acid or vegetable dyed, without lot numbers and banding.

Currently we carry especially wicking yarns from 100% virgin wool, wool from baby alpaca and super thick wool like cotton ribbon yarn and Sullana alpaca or the wicking yarn Oslo.
